GRENADA: Caribbean Airlines Expands Daily Service to Grenada, Barbados

Caribbean Airlines, the regional carrier and national airline of Trinidad and Tobago, has announced a fall schedule designed to “facilitate better connectivity within the Caribbean and between North and South America,” said airline officials.

The new schedule will offer daily service to and from Grenada and Barbados where flights will connect to Caribbean Airlines’ hub at Piarco International Airport in Trinidad. From there passengers can select flights to various destinations throughout Caribbean Airlines’ network, including Miami, New York, Toronto, Jamaica, Guyana and the Bahamas.

“Our new fall schedule is built for easy connectivity to destinations within and outside the Caribbean region,” said Michael DiLollo, Caribbean Airlines’ CEO. “The timing of the services from Barbados and Grenada to and from Piarco, Trinidad with connections throughout our network, are ideal for business and leisure travelers,” he added.

Caribbean Airlines offers flights to Trinidad from several international gateways including the New York area (from JFK International Airport and from Newark International on CAL), Houston, the South Florida area (from Fort Lauderdale and Miami on CAL) and central Florida (Orlando).

Caribbean Airlines also flies from New York’s JFK International Airport direct to Tobago once a week on Sundays, and operates the commuter flights between Trinidad and Tobago.
